Student Services

ICBS has long abided by the doctrine that every educational establishment, at any level, does not fulfil its mission by merely executing educational procedure. Our aim is to develop well rounded personalities in addition to bestowing knowledge. This is achieved by events organised by our Marketing and Communications department that have now become a tradition, and take the following shapes and forms.

CONFERENCE & SEMINARS

ICBS, in conjunction with public economic bodies such as the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece (FING), the Exporters’ Association of Northern Greece (SEVE), and American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, has organised a plethora of conferences lectures and seminars of general or specific business focus. Speakers at such functions are always top-ranking Greek or foreign scientists and ICBS lecturers, that impart their precious knowledge and experiences to the public. In this way, students , graduates and business executives are kept abreast with international developments in the business and academic world.

COMPANIES VISITS

In an attempt to bridge theoretical knowledge gained at ICBS and the real business world, a number of field trips and visits to established businesses and plants is organized.
Students have the opportunity inspect and survey the way business are organised and run, as well as have open discussions with the people in charge, on topics of management and marketing among others.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

Over the years, ICBS has been organising graduation ceremonies in each city, held on September, where University representatives hand out degrees to students that have successfully completed their studies. In tandem with every graduation ceremony, esteemed citizens of our country are acclaimed Honorary Doctors. Such individuals are active in a variety of fields, such as politics, business, and have most certainly made their personal mark in their respective fields.

EXCURSION IN THE BRITISH UNIVERSITY

A significant number of students each year are visiting the British University.
During their visit, students have the opportunity to attend courses in their profession with university students and to tour facilities (campus), learning about all the new technologies for education.
